THE BRAND YOU

The Products part of the 7P’s framework is based on discovering your ‘what’ of work and then help you define your ‘who’ of work.

This section addresses the organizational and then personal elements of Products.  Each organization makes products using the latest technology.  In the front of this section, we describe the biggest disruptors to work including artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, and smart machines.

Then, we discuss the ‘who’ or personal element of products.  Each of us has a personal brand much like each business has a business brand.  You already know what the Apple brand stands for.   Do you know what your personal brand stands for?  So, we discuss what personal brands stand for.  Your personal brand is your product – YOU.  As companies are disrupted, VUCANs are impacted.  Much like any product needs to be updated with a new design, features, and capabilities, you’ll have to update your personal practices.

Your personal brand is not only reputation, but it’s more  Personal branding is not only your value add and best personal practices, but your core principles specifically in terms of what you believe in.   You need to know what you stand for to live and work authentically
