Rules to Work in Business

Fast Company, the innovative business magazine, says to win in business a company has to work smarter not harder. If you’ve been reading this book from the beginning, you’re familiar with the competitiveness mantra.

The logic goes like this. If a company wants to win at business, it needs the best Brand U’s. To get the best Brand U’s, it needs to create the most attractive, supportive, and challenging workplace. To create the best workplace, it needs to reinvent its work practices. In other words, to win in business, a company has to invent new ways of working.[i]

To win, it must manage its customer, time, quality, communications, risk, technology, and performance commitments.
