Quality Management

Quality is everyone’s responsibility.

  1. Edwards Deming, Quality Guru

Quality has tanked! Quality is passé! We’re now transforming our organization, every two years. We’re into virtual teaming. And, on it goes… Much has been lost in the pursuit of the next silver bullet. Faddish quality management has died but the good sign is that it’s been integrated into everyone’s job. Bottom line: each Brand U is responsible for the quality of his or her work.

It’s interesting to see how business has changed in the last few years. Business hurdles and barriers are higher. Time is of the essence. Risks are higher. Low cost, high quality products and services won’t guarantee success any longer. Now, products must consist of the right bundle of price-competitive, high quality features delivered just in time and in the right manner to fickle customers. How is this done consistently? The only way is through a customer-centered, quality focus.
