But what about the schlep who punches the same hole in a piece of metal all day long. Or, the computer coder who has been working for months. Can these people find nirvana at work and be all they can be? Maybe?
Finding meaning at work is the fundamental objective among Brand U’s. The important point is we want a sense of connection with our work. The current buzzwords are stunning including empowerment, self-directed teams, servant leadership, stewardship, vision/mission statements, and self-actualized training. Some stuff is based on sound research, others are feel-good and far-fetched. The important point is that more Brand U’s want meaning from our work.
