Normally jobs are cut when there is a financial emergency. The company is bleeding red ink. Now organizations restructure just to stay competitive. Recently Xerox cut 9,000 jobs. Why? Despite reaching financial records and surging stock, Xerox is cutting the jobs to stay competitive as its market shifts to digital technology.
